The Working Songwriter Podcast
We’ve known Joe Pug for over a decade, have toured together, slept on each other’s floors, gotten to know each other’s families, and talked shop about the ins and outs of making a life in music over the years. He’s got a brilliant podcast (The Working Songwriter) and has created a much-needed space for artists to dig into the nitty gritty of building a career and craft. David sat down recently with Joe as a guest on the podcast and delved into the early Boston roots of the band, opening for The Avett Brothers, winning a slot to perform at the Newport Folk Festival, and the newest chapter of home recording.

Rhett Miller's Wheels Off Podcast
What a pleasure to be a guest on the Wheels Off podcast with Rhett Miller of Old 97's! It’s hard to think of an artist who has done more for our career than the amazing and big-hearted Rhett Miller. I was a huge fan as a kid and then got a chance to open up for Rhett at the Narrows Center for the Arts back in 2010. It was the beginning of a beautiful mentorship and friendship. Listen now to our conversation wherever you get your podcast fix.

New Album Euphoric Ouroboric is Here!
Our new album Euphoric Ouroboric drops today!
This record came together so naturally that it’s wild to look back now and see what a creative catalyst it has become in our artistic lives. Going in, I had never really recorded Suz or myself and hadn’t been drawn to that side of music making. But when our tour schedule vanished last March, I realized what a unique opportunity it was to unexpectedly have the time and space to dig into the world of home recording. I buckled down, borrowed some microphones from a neighbor (thanks, Jesse Fiske!), watched hours of online tutorials, and started sending demos to producer Alec Spiegelman. And ever so slowly and gently, this record began to take shape. Stream it, share it, or find it on bandcamp or our website—we hope you enjoy it!

We're Building a Music Studio!
Just over a year ago we had the incredible fortune of meeting a wonderful fan of ours who has changed our life. He is the founder of Geobarns, and he has generously offered to help us build a music studio in our backyard through the charitable fund Geobarns Virginia, Share It Forward.
In addition to designing this gorgeous structure, this fund will match every dollar we raise from our community up to $50,000 to finance this dream. (Yes, we are pinching ourselves!).
Can you contribute to making this dream a reality?

Another Brand New Song!
Another brand new single “Helen, Can You Forgive Me?” is out in the world today. It’s my personal favorite from the forthcoming record, masterfully produced by our dear friend Alec Spiegelman. Lots of musical magic on this one from Anthony da Costa and Philip Mayer. It’s one of those songs that makes me so psyched for live shows to come back around, when we can all sing this chorus together in a sweaty nightclub.

Another New Song on Patreon -- "Pattern of Mind"
The song rollout of the new album continues on Patreon.
We just posted song #2 from our forthcoming album Euphoric Ouroboric -- an exclusive release just for the Patreon community! For just $3/month, you can be part of this community, get the first listen to our new material, and learn about the backstory behind the songs. After the chilled out vibe of "Every Bit of Love" Suz said I should share something catchy and upbeat, and so we present to you "Pattern of Mind." This tropicália channeling of Talking Heads is a meditation on quarantine and thinking, loosely inspired by Buddhism, Westworld and Byron Katie.
