A Brand New Song..."Every Bit of Love"
With great excitement, we present to you the first single "Every Bit of Love," a dreamy gem of a song from our new album Euphoric Ouroboric. Produced and mixed by Alec Spiegelman and recorded in our attic studio, it's been a labor of love these past few months.
We will exclusively premiere the rest of the record on Patreon before its official public release, so come join our Patreon community to be the first to hear it!

A Real Life Show in Charlottesville!
It's hard to believe, but this will be our first public show in the US in 2020. Join us on Sept. 26 and 27 for a very special socially-distanced outdoor event with dear friends Lowland Hum at a beautiful vineyard just north of Charlottesville. With your ticket, you are basically reserving a 10'x10' plot of land to watch the show. It's almost like you get your own personal festival experience while we serenade you with a backdrop of the Blue Ridge mountains at sunset. Tasty foods and drinks can be ordered on your phone and masked servers will deliver them to you. More info & tickets available at www.Festy2020.com.

Carpenter Bird: Revisited!
11 years ago we released "Carpenter Bird" our first studio record. Today we officially release "Carpenter Bird: Revisited" -- the remixed, remastered, & reimagined version.
We uncovered forgotten sounds from the original sessions, sped up two tracks, re-recorded some vocals, added new horn arrangements (thanks to Alec Spiegelman & Danilo Henriquez), included a bonus track, & roped in some special friends (Devon Sproule & Paul Curreri) to spice things up for the vinyl pressing. We can't wait for you to dig back in!
Listen now on Spotify.
Pre-order the vinyl.

Carpenter Bird: Revisited -- officially out on July 10!
You've been asking for Carpenter Bird -- our first studio album -- on vinyl. And instead of "merely" remixing and remastering it, we dug back into the sessions and reimagined the record. Nothing too drastic, but we feel like we got closer to the heart of the songs. And we added a bonus track from the original sessions. Excited to hear it? Well, here's how:

Gratitude + our weekly schedule
First off, we just want to say a heartfelt thank you for all the support you've provided these past seven weeks. Once all our tours started getting cancelled or postponed, we felt like we were briefly in free fall, but our community (YOU!) instantly caught us. The thoughtful emails, the Patreon love, the heart emojis during the live streams, the generous tips, sweet Venmo messages, the beautiful patchwork Zoom concerts, and those of you who come hang at our live streams time after time...you have all lifted our spirits immensely. Playing each night has been a lifeline for us. It gives us an excuse to dress up and sing and smile for an hour -- much needed medicine right now. We feel so fortunate that these past 13 years on the road have allowed us to connect with so many of you and be part of your lives. And then when we needed help, you all rushed in. We could not be more grateful.
We've dialed in this weekly schedule...a quarantine routine. We'll keep it up as long as we can, friends.
Sunday - Vibey & Romantic
Tuesday - Weekly theme...this Tuesday is Cinco de Mayo!
Fridays - Family-friendly for the young and young-at-heart

Community Supported Art via Patreon
Friends, we’ve decided to create a CSA — but with songs instead of veggies. Think of it as Community Supported “Artist-culture.” With all our touring cancelled this spring we’re asking our community to chip in a few bucks a month to help sustain the artists that bring you your musical food. Become a patron of the arts at www.patreon.com/davidwaxmuseum. We’ve got exclusive goodies we’ve been waiting to share with you. We promise they’re all grass-fed. And no animals were harmed in the creation of these products. Thank you so much for the amazing support you’ve already given us. We look forward to singing to you virtually and in person very soon.
Your musical farmers,
Suz & David

Weekly Live Stream Schedule
With so much music taking place on screens these days we wanted to spice things up by inviting two friends and their new puppy Roo from up the street to watch the live stream *live* outside our window last night. If someone had seen them looking in our window it may have seemed creepy, but to us it was so sweet to have two live audience members even if they were socially distanced outside our house.
This week’s shows (all EST):
Tuesday 8:30pm - new & old favs
Wednesday 11am - w/ special guests
Friday 2pm - family-friendly
Sunday 10pm - mellow, vibey & romantic

Golden Hour on World Cafe
We are thrilled to share the news that World Cafe just did a feature on Golden Hour (formerly Concert in the Blind), the immersive musical experience we’ve been developing with our dear friends Daniel & Lauren Goans (of Lowland Hum).
Toss out what you know about concerts. Golden Hour is a new live music experience that invites you to come and inhabit music. There is no stage. There is no applause. There are no bad seats. This is live music in its purest form, without distractions. It's a chance to get to the heart of the music and then stay there for a while. Golden Hour is a deep listening opportunity designed by artists who want to be closer to their audiences; to be able to deliver songs to individuals en masse.
